It was recorded and released in 2006 and has started making a huge trend in Africa and internationally. "I Wanna Love You" comes off his new album titled "Konvicted".

Akon released his second studio album "Konvicted" which is a follow-up to "Trouble (2004)". The new project was released under the imprint of Konvict, UpFront, SRC, and Universal Motown.

Konvicted is another great and special offering from Akon where he showcases his true self and the high echelon of his talent, capabilities and music genres. Productions were handled by Akon himself, Giorgio Tuinfort, Eminem, Rune Rask, Troo.L.S, Ghulam Sajid, SuperVillain Beats and T-Pain, whose individual services are generally accepted.

Taken from the project, the song "I Wanna Love You" appeared as the 4th and one of the best tracks that will make you hit the replay button again and again... Production was handled by Akon himself.
