Pitbull, the American rapper and singer honours the invite from Akon as team up and record the song "Te Quiero Amar" which would be accepted by the fans out there. It was made worldwide in 2019 and has started going viral and collecting many streams on the platforms.

Akon released his fourth studio album "El Negreeto" which is a follow-up to "Freedom (2008)". It was released under his new independent record label Akonik Label Group, in association with BMG Rights Management. El Negreeto is another special offering from Akon after 11 years since the release of Freedom.

El Negreeto is another great body of work album made of bachata, merengue and reggaeton. It houses a number of eight beautiful tracks which feature vocals and guest appearances from Farruko, Becky G, Anitta, and Pitbull. Production was handled by Akon himself, Camilo Echeverry, IAmChino, Jimmy Joker, Jon Leone, Maffio, Matthew Weiss and Mau y Ricky, whose services are generally accepted.

Taken from the project, the song "Te Quiero Amar" happens to be the very first track with a special production by Dominican urban music producer, composer and artist, Maffio.
